One fine day, Dinny O'Shaughnessey spies the Leprechaun Finn, in the bushes mending shoes. With the help of his wife Katie and their sons, Dinny captures Finn, and sets about trying to win his gold.

But a leprechaun's greatest defence is his riddle. So Finn posses this question to Dinny and his familly, “What is greater than God, more evil than the devil, the poor have it, the rich need it and if you eat it, you will die?”

Katie, Dinny, and the five children set out on the highways and byways to find help in solving the puzzling riddle. Can they find the answer to the leprechaun's riddle in time? Will they find even greater treasures, right under their noses?

Catherine O'Neil is a retired school teacher living in upstate New York. She was a teacher for thirty-six years, during which time she discovered her love of children's books. She also holds a master's degree in art and is a skilled graphic artist and illustrator.

Two new magical tales for young readers ... Both books are rich in the trappings of traditional tales: compelling story-telling language, strong moral elements and a tricky magical creature set against a homely setting.
