There is a huge demand for Irish language books which are a step up from the SOS series.
Scéal Eile is a new series created specially to address this. Building on the successful SOS series, the Scéal Eile titles are a little more difficult and divided into chapters.
The Scéal Eile series is for children age 9-11 or age 8-9, depending on their fluency in Irish. They are suitable for use in a classroom and for children developing their language skills. They are also ideal for native Irish speakers who are looking for reading material with a bit more bite.
